2D barcode labels provide box content data directly to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Each barcode encodes the SKU and quantity, so when scanned, Amazon instantly receives the box’s contents.

Unlike traditional FBA labels, where box content is submitted in advance, 2D barcodes do not require prior submission—Amazon will only know how items are packed once they scan the barcodes upon arrival.

Even if Amazon assigns box numbers, they hold no relevance in shipments using 2D barcodes.

Why Use 2D Barcode Labels?

No box content submission required – Just select the 2D Barcodes option.
Faster processing – Print labels as you pack, instead of waiting for the entire shipment’s box content to be submitted first.
Optimized for high-volume sellers – Amazon recommends 2D barcodes for streamlined operations.
